Psychotherapy - Devizes and Swindon
My name is Ruth and I am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist and hold an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy from the Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BCPC).
I understand that entering psychotherapy can be a daunting prospect and encourage you to contact me so that we can organise an introductory session to meet each other. You may be clear about how you feel and what you are hoping for or you may be in a state of wordless despair and not know where to begin. There is no 'right' way to be and my invitation to you is to be with what is and we can work from there together.
If we decide to continue working together, my intention is to provide an enduringly safe and compassionate space to explore what it means to be you. I will endeavour to work alongside you as you bring to your awareness any disowned or denied parts of your self and help create the conditions which enable a richer quality of experience for you in your wider world.
For most of the week I work from my private consulting room room near Devizes. I also hold a small practice on a Tuesday at the Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre in Old Town, Swindon.
